At the core, I am a passionate filmmaker, driven to create and share stories with great characters and compelling sequences that have massive impact and that really connect with audiences. Within the Motion Capture Department at Dr D Studios, I was responsible for creating previs sequences for Happy Feet Two, Mad Max: Fury Road and a slate of unreleased projects. My role included layout, digital cinematography (keyframe camera animation and virtual camera system on the mocap stage), editing, blocking animation and motion editing. It was a privilege to be trusted to work side-by-side with Director Dr George Miller and Choreographers Wade Robson and Dein Perry to explore narrative decisions and craft drama and dance performances from motion capture data while creating cameras and cutting patterns ‘on the fly’.
Since then, I have travelled the world collaborating with teams both large and small, creating Hollywood feature films as well as music videos and video/photo content for fashion events. My goal is to continue to build and nurture a creative, supportive environment where Artists, Partners and Clients can communicate openly, share their ideas, discuss different solutions, explore and really flex their creative muscle. I enjoy solving creative challenges, leading my team and collaborating with our partners to create the most engaging, successful projects possible.
